2. Pay attention to installation

Multiwall polycarbonate is subject to thermal expansion, so correct installation is essential.

• Always allow for expansion gaps
• Position the UV-protected side correctly, as shown on the label, to ensure a long service life
• Use suitable profiles of the same thickness as the sheet

Polycarbonate profiles let you join sheets securely and precisely, ensuring structural continuity, stability and a clean, attractive finish. They are ideal for extending the covered area while maintaining transparency, strength and long-term protection.

There are two main types of profile:

• H profile: used to join sheets together
